also、too、as well、either与likewise的区别

这些词均含“也”之意。

also ：比too正式一些，语气较重，只用于肯定句，一般紧靠动词。

• She's fluent in French and German. She also speaks a little Italian.
  她的法语和德语讲得流利，也会说一点意大利语。

too ：语气较轻，多用于口语，在肯定句中使用，通常位于句末。

• When I've finished painting the bathroom, I'm going to do the kitchen too.
  我油漆完浴室后，还要油漆厨房。

as well ：一般不用否定句，通常放在句末，强调时可放在句中。

• They visited some factories, hospitals as well as the school.
  他们参观了这所学校，还参观了工厂和医院。

either ：用于否定句，放在句末，之前加逗号。

• Pete can't go and I can't either.
  皮特不能去，我也不能。

likewise ：是书面语用词。

• Her second marriage was likewise unhappy.
  她的第二次婚姻也不幸福。
