curious to relate和curious to say可单独使用，意为“说来真奇怪”。 Curious to relate/say,the boy was not drowned.说来也奇怪，这个男孩没有溺死。

curious后面可接how，what或者that引导的从句。 We felt curious how they would receive our advise.It is curious that the old man should remember the names of all his childhood friends.注意that从句中需用should。

curious的意思有二:一是“好奇的”,用于褒义时可指“好求知的”,用于贬义时可指“爱打听的,爱管闲事的”,在句中可作主语或表语; 二是“奇妙的,稀奇的”,在句中主要用作主语,也可用于形式主语结构。

curious可接that或wh-从句,其中that从句后的谓语动词必须用其虚拟式; curious作定语时,多半用作贬义。

curious一般不用very修饰,不用于比较级和最高级。
