① My phone broke down.
② My phone crashed.
③ My phone is out of order.
1. My phone's dead./My phone died.
Sorry, my phone's dead.
I thought my phone died!
2. My cellphone is out of power./My phone has no power.
“out of”指“用完”,power指“电能电量”。
① My phone is going to die.
② My phone is running out of battery.
③ My phone's dying.
Oh no!My phone is out of data and it's just the first week of this month.
The reception is too bad in my room.
如果你的手机话费余额不足,那么打电话的时候就有可能听到这样的语音提示信息:“Sorry, you don’t have enough credit to make this call.
直接说“My phone has no money.” 地道的英语表达应该是“My cellphone runs out of credit.”
The study found that nearly 53 percent of mobile phone users in Britain tend to be anxious when they "lose their mobile phone, run out of battery or credit, or have no network coverage".
My mobile phone is out of credit, so I have to top up it.
OCUD (Obsessive Cellphone Use Disorder) describes a person who continually talks on their cellphone or check updates on mobile apps in public, while driving, checking out, or eating in a restaurant.
OCUD(Obsessive Cellphone Use Disorder,手机过度使用症)指一个人无论开车、出门或是在餐馆吃饭都一直在用手机打电话或者不停查看手机app上各种更新的状态。
I wish that lady would get off her cellphone and watch the road. Gosh, she must have OCUD or something.
1. It makes you a less responsible pedestrian.
2. Your divided attention could keep you from what's truly important.
3. Your posture is suffering.
4. We can't believe we still have to say this, but it disrupts your driving.
5. Your school or work performance will suffer.
6. It can prevent you from really enjoying the activities you cherish.
