有关老鼠的英语表达

“rat”是“老鼠”的意思，中文当中，有不少关于老鼠的表达：过街老鼠人人喊打、一粒老鼠屎坏了一锅汤、鼠目寸光等，可见提到老鼠，大多数是比较负面的表达。

在英语当中，和rat相关的也基本上是贬义的。

今天我们来学习几个有关rat的表达。

I smell a rat.

这句话的本意为我闻到了一只老鼠。

其实，“I smell a rat”意思是“感觉事情可疑、不对劲，感到其中有诈”。
